Bliss List Benefits
Hey there! Thanks for coming to hangout and read about another one of my time tips!
Today I will be talking about Bliss Lists. A Bliss list is a top 10 list to bring you to ground zero. You can keep this in your phone so you can always access it. This list is extremely useful when approaching high levels of stress and anxiety and needing to detach from this thought process. The purpose behind it is to give you a tool to help you interrupt the pattern of intense thoughts and memories which intrude upon your daily life.
I challenge you to create this bliss list and this week, or the following, use one item from the list. Reflect upon how it helped the situation. This does not have to be a huge thing, it can be as easy as blasting your favorite song to dance and release some energy and emotion. Or going to cuddle with one of your pets on the couch. Even taking 5 deep breaths and telling yourself an affirmation to ground yourself.
This can look however you want it to. After you get comfortable with using an item or two off of your list, start scheduling it into your calendar for once a day and watch how it affects your mood, energy, and stress levels.
